Dr. Allison Chung is an Associate Clinical Professor for the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Auburn University, Harrison School of Pharmacy (AUHSOP) and an Adjunct Associate Professor for the Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine at University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 residency at University of Maryland Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology/Toxicology at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH.
Dr Chung is a Board Certified Pediatric and Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Dr. Chung has an active clinical practice with the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. Previously she had been involved with both the USA Family Specialty/Pediatric HIV clinic and the USA BreathMobile Clinic (Asthma Clinic). Her education and scholarly activities have involved pediatric pharmacotherapy especially in the PICU, anticonvulsants, HIV, asthma, and professionalism. She’s been involved in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), Pediatric Pharmacy Association (PPA), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Student National Pharmacy Association (SNPhA) as well as others.
