A Story of Innovation in Health System Pharmacy

— featuring the Pharmacy Services Department at Allegheny Health Network

The Pharmacy Podcast Network is proud of the work our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians do everyday.

We have built a special podcast series featuring Pittsburgh based Allegheny Health Network’s Pharmacy Services division lead by Dr. Laura Mark, PharmD who is the pharmacy department Vice President. Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is an integrated health system dedicated to providing exceptional care to people in the Greater Pittsburgh communities. The AHN Pharmacy Services team practice “patient safety” above all and believe in a patient-centered approach to care. Placing the patient at the center of the Pharmacy Services division means a greater focus on coordinated health and wellness services. The Pharmacy Services team is committed to their patients from start to finish with continuous advancements in evidence-based practices, innovative technologies, & workflow methodologies which helps pharmacy to be better integrated into the health systems operations .
