PHARMDNICK PETERS
Nick Peters is currently a Critical Care/Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist working overnight at the IU Health Adult Academic Health Center in Indianapolis, IN. He was born and raised in Indianapolis and received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University. Nick completed his PGY1 residency at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN and his PGY2 critical care residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
“Pharmacy to Dose: The Critical Care podcast” was started on the idea to help make medical podcasts more interesting and fun while also remaining informative. As a self-proclaimed jack of all trades and master of none, Nick features the best and brightest Pharmacists on each episode so that everyone can learn from the experts. His love of teaching and precepting is reflected in the Literature Review Series, where students, residents, and Pharmacists early in their career join the podcast to discuss notable research and peer-reviewed publications.
Outside of pharmacy and podcasting, Nick enjoys hiking the national parks, listening to live music, watching sports, and finding delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
